Since all my Place reviews are translated and posted on weartested.com as well, international readers are invited to vote, too. It's very easy to join: 1. The second project for my new employer after the Lakai Linden (I can't show a picture of those yet) will be the Emerica Hsu 2 low, a new model for 2012. Expect the review at newsstands all over the world and on the internet in January.As some of you might remember, a few months ago you, the reader, had the possibility to decide which cheap skate shoes will be reviewed next. You where able to pick your favorite on the Place Magazine facebook page. The Habitat Garcia won with almost 50% of the votes and in a few days, you'll be able.

Since about a week I'm skating the Nike SB Koston 1, followers of the weartested facebook page might already know. I don't want to reveal too much, but it's save to say that I like them. Here's a picture of it after the first 6 hours of skating.Better late than never, you can befriend weartested on facebook now. As with twitter in the beginning, I don't know yet in what exact direction the posts are going to go, but feel invited to be part of the process: WEARTESTED ON FACEBOOK.I just received my pair of the new Lakai Guy XLK. It will be the subject of a One Day with review that will be published around the beginning of May. Thanks to Kelly Bird at Lakai for the test samples.This is my pair of Adidas Ronans after approximately 15 hours of skating. These turn out to be a lot more durable than expected at first sight, so they should easily outlive the 25 hours mark. Expect the full review in Place Magazine this summer and -as always- there will be an English version .
